Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the only woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. She finished second both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The first female to win at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Also, she is known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie and her parents and her siblings were born and grew up in Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she has been a sport and fitness fanatic. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions in California. Her first results were good. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 (by the year 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit when she was in California. At the beginning of her competition, she did very well and was ranked in the top 10 among 70. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. It was in her second year, she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she became the very first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 helped her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. Also, she received a trophy that was silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a trainer as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is getting recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and other.
